Welcome to the Spring 2024 HMC Writing Center scheduler! We are located in Shanahan 1470, next door to the Cafe. We will open this semester on Monday, January 22nd, after which we hope to see you early and often!
Here are some things to know about us:
- All appointments are for 45 minutes--that's 40 minutes for the appointment and 5 minutes for the consultant to take a breath before their next appointment.
- Face-to-face consultations are best. That's a lesson we learned during the Covid remote year. But if you are ill or have other reasons you can't make a face-to-face appointment, email your consultant and they will arrange for an online consultation. You can find their email by clicking on your appointment in the scheduler. But really, face-to-face is best, so unless you're ill or studying abroad, please plan to come to Shanahan 1470. We'll offer you tea!
- If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please cancel as far in advance as you can. You may cancel by clicking on your appointment in the scheduler, scrolling down to the bottom of the new window and clicking "Cancel Appointment."
